I would say the same for any binary division; there is always fuzzy logic
and most cultures deal with interpenetrations for example kabbalah.
Further x & not-x can equal a null set relative to x only - something I
worked on; you don't need absence, but can retain nomenclature as a trace.

For me the division A|B is similar to the notion that reading and writing
are 'linear' - yes, but only if so much is overlooked that the mirror
retains a skeletal caricature.
